ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have always been interested in understanding how things work. making things. Today's world encourages us to specialise but I am not very good at that. Lots of different things take my attention, and I think this is evident in my broad and perhaps idiosyncratic portfolio. I am driven by a strong sense of design and colour. My paintings in particular are about my exploration of colour, particularly opposites.

I have undertaken both public and private work and I am happy to consider commissioned work.
